ITI Canada is excited to announce the recipients of the 2022 David Squires Foundation Scholarship. This year, we are proud to award scholarships to Rocky Au from the University of Lethbridge and Mohiuddin Faiyaz from McMaster University. The David Squires Foundation awards scholarships annually to Canadian post-secondary students who have demonstrated a high level of academic excellence. These students also have a passion for their field, and the potential to make a lasting contribution. What is the David Squires Foundation Scholarship?
Every year, the David Squires Foundation grants scholarships to Canadian post-secondary students who have achieved high academic success and demonstrate a deep passion for their field of study, with the ambition to make an enduring impact.
Who is eligible to apply for the scholarship?
There is a list of qualification for students to be considered for the scholarship. Including: Student demonstrates significant financial need, student is in the second semester or later of a full time IT program at a University or College in Canada, and the student has shown a high level of academic achievement. How do I apply for the scholarship?
Between September 1st and October 31, students can apply here when the application period is open.
When is the deadline to apply for the scholarship?
The deadline each year is October 31st but occasionally it will extend to give students more time to submit applications.
How will I be notified if I am awarded the scholarship?
You will receive an email letting you know that the scholarship is awarded to you and we will ask you for information to send you the award.
